- The SSR (Short Sale Restriction) metric indicates whether a stock is currently under short sale restriction.
- SSR is triggered when a stock's price declines 10% or more from the previous day's close during regular trading hours.
- Once triggered, short selling is restricted to occurring only on a price "uptick" for the remainder of the day and the following trading day.
